November 2025 proved to be an incredibly busy and rewarding month for Vespresso, highlighting our commitment to community presence and festive spirit.

The month began with our attendance at the popular Mayplace Fireworks Night. On Bonfire Night, Vespresso was privileged to set up at Mayplace Primary School, serving our comforting coffees and treats to all the spectators who came out to enjoy the magical fireworks display. Fitting in seamlessly alongside many other supportive local community businesses, Vespresso ensured everyone stayed warm and energised throughout the evening’s spectacular show.

The festive calendar continued with Vespresso hosting a significant event: the annual Barnehurst Christmas Tree Lighting. This treasured local tradition sees the community gather in the heart of the Barnehurst parade to watch the Christmas tree light up for the first time. Vespresso was delighted to bring our full menu to the celebration, including exclusive, one day only drinks and bakes, making the evening that much more special for all who attended. These events underscore Vespresso's dedication to being an active, integral part of the local Barnehurst experience.

Vespresso’s annual Halloween celebration was a resounding success, demonstrating our deep commitment to creating engaging, community focused events right here in Barnehurst. The day was dedicated to delivering fun and excitement for all ages, cementing Vespresso’s reputation as more than just a coffee spot, but a central hub for local festivities. We worked hard to transform the local area into an interactive playground for one of the year’s most anticipated holidays.

The main attraction for the younger members of the community was the brilliantly organised Treasure Hunt. Vespresso meticulously set up clues across the local area, encouraging children and their families to explore the neighbourhood while solving spooky riddles. The effort culminated back at the van, where every successful young explorer received a fantastic goodie bag filled with hand-selected treats, all proudly made and assembled by the dedicated Vespresso team. To the delight of the children, the event featured a special appearance from our much-loved mascot, Demi the Dinosaur, with one of our cherished staff members enthusiastically donning the costume for photo opportunities and laughs.

For the 'big kids' and adult attendees, the excitement continued with a major Raffle Event. Every single purchase made at the Vespresso van during the event automatically earned a raffle ticket, giving customers a chance to win from a compelling list of potential prizes. This was a direct effort to support and highlight our local peers, as the prize pool included generous vouchers from local businesses, Vespresso treats, sweets, and various stuffed animals, fostering cross-promotion and local economic support.

The event was a testament to the fun and inclusive spirit Vespresso champions. From costumed characters engaging with children to the thoughtful prizes encouraging support for other local enterprises, the Halloween celebration delivered a memorable experience for everyone. It perfectly showcases how Vespresso is dedicated to crafting not just great drinks, but joyful community moments, making it a firm favourite on the local events calendar.

In Septemeber 2025 Vespresso proudly partnered with Alfa Romeo UK for their high profile "She's Electric" track day event. This significant collaboration showcased Vespresso's unique ability to deliver premium coffee service at major national events, regardless of location.

In an exciting synergy of vintage charm and cutting edge performance, the iconic Vespresso van made the considerable journey of over 100 miles to a test track in Oxfordshire—a substantial logistical undertaking, moving away from its established, small setup in Barnehurst to cater to a prestigious client base far from home.

For half a week, the Vespresso van transformed into the dedicated hospitality hub. The team served their full menu of handcrafted drinks, from essential morning pick me ups to speciality lattes, providing crucial fuel for both professional racers and high profile business elites attending the dynamic event.

This successful partnership highlights Vespresso's growing reputation and commitment. It demonstrates the operation's mobility, its dedication to high quality service, and its ability to provide a memorable touch of distinctive style at premier corporate and automotive events across the UK.

August for Vespresso, our commitment to community was fully realised when we participated in the vital Hope for Harley fundraising day. This critical effort supports 14 year old Harley Harris, a young man from our community born with the rare condition Spondylocarpotarsal Synostosis, whose health is now rapidly declining and requires urgent, specialised private medical intervention.

The event, held on at Bexley Park Sports & Social Club, was a fun day that showcased incredible local spirit. It saw numerous local businesses showing their support, featuring everything from Jumping Jacks Bouncing Castles to our own Vespresso van.

Vespresso was proud to contribute by serving our full menu of drinks, with all proceeds directly supporting Harley’s fund. Every coffee purchased helped move Harley closer to securing the specialised private care that could save his life. We continue to encourage all members of our community to stand with Harley and his family in this crucial mission.

In July of '25, the official Grand Opening Day of Vespresso marked a momentous occasion for the community, signifying the successful transition of a five year vision into a vibrant, operational business. This highly anticipated launch saw a truly fantastic turnout, confirming Vespresso’s commitment to becoming a beloved local fixture in Barnehurst.

The day was a genuine celebration of coffee and community spirit. Visitors to the iconic van enjoyed Vespresso’s extensive menu, which included classic brews, indulgent speciality lattes, and an exciting variety of treats sourced from our local bakery partners. The atmosphere was filled with energy and enthusiasm as the team proudly served a constant stream of new and familiar faces.

In line with the Vespresso mission to welcome everyone, the opening also proved a huge success with our four legged friends, many of whom delighted in their complimentary Pupchinos. The Grand Opening marks a powerful beginning to Vespresso’s commitment to providing excellent service and crafting happiness, one cup at a time, solidifying its place in the heart of the Barnehurst community.
